Here what our employees and volunteers have to say about the ranch and the owners.
Alexandra,
"I love it so bad here!" Here I find a home, a family and I live my dream. I learn a lot about horses and organization. I love working with generous persons for a great cause. All that. With a lot of fun and laugh.
I am 20 year old girl who was born in Evionnaz Switzerland. I come to America through the wwoofing program and been working with Jim since February 20, 2012.
Here, I feed horses and medicine them every morning. We care to keep for them a good place and we concern per their happiness. After that we have the chance to ride and to work with a lot of different kind of horses, as well as dogs and a goat really cute and unique "cadeau". (gift in french) Jim, and all my friends teach me a lot about ranch life. When I first come here, I didn't know anything about horses and with patience and fun they're give me a lot of knowledge. All most every week end we have some trail ride with clients and it's always a great moment of share in a beautiful scenic. We have a very fun times and Shelly ( Bo's wife) is a great cooker, Jim too.
I get so sad, I go home back to Switzerland, April 23, 2012. It makes me sad that I have to leave my American family. I'm really sorry if my english is no amazing but I try to write with my words... You're lucky, you don't hear my accent !

I heard about the ranch and came to offer my services. I do a little bit of everything and try the rest. I enjoy everything about the ranch and being outdoors all the time. I really like the horses and do a job working with them. Jim likes the way I have a lot of patience and bond with horses. He is one of my mentors and helps me understand the horses and lets me know the best way to work with them.
Comments 4/23/2012 2:26:53 PM by Alexandra91 This ranch has been my dream become true! Jim has almost adopted me as a daughter and he took care of me. He has just became my american family, I found there a family who became bigger when some new volunteers arrived. They're all so welcoming and they're really right people. I knew nothing about horses, with patience and humor they taught me everything! I slept in a house with a girl from Georgia, together we had a lot of fun, we learned a lot about our difference, we spend a lot of time together but we still had intimity in same time. So perfect ! I worked with men and women in a spirit of support and love of animals. Learn to train horses and horse riding, riding in the forest with customers, care of sick animals or abused, learn English, laugh and laugh, this is the daily life there. I have a important desire to return and return there again. Some months there, is not be enough to me for learn all what Jim know about life and horses. More, they are great cook and I was really spoiled! I just left a team of 8 people, I miss them already. Leaving broke my heart, but I know i'll be back and this help me. People of all ages come and work here, a wonderful mix of cultures, histories and generations. SO, just GO THERE ! I’m bless and grateful to have find this ranch, to have meet this wonderful people . I'm in love with this ranch
